The PIXMA TS6420 works well for text, photo as well as graphics. On a printing test, I found the characters were well-shaped and the spacing was just fine. I didn’t notice misshaped characters even when I tried the small fonts. My final words about printing text with this product is that it’s absolutely dependable.

A test with graphics was well overall but it was not as excellent as text test. I could find minor streaking and hairlines but it didn’t mess the whole print result. In other words, this model is reliable to print charts, graphics, or presentation slides from your PPT files.

When it came to photo printing, this PIXMA TS6420 printed impressive images with impeccable details. The colors were accurate and vibrant, even though it’s incomparable to five- or six-ink photo printers. For scrapbook photo printing or kid’s creative project, this printer is more than sufficient to deliver high quality output.
